The marching stars increases the maximum movable hexes. For trading, it decreases the item's prices in shops of campaign maps, and training stars ups the limit of the maximum trainable levels. Stars increases the damage of the commanded troop. Rank can be increased by killing enemy troops. Rank is the amount of health that the general adds to the commanding troops. Nobility is upgraded through 1 to 8, one at a time, then straight to 10. Nobility can be increased by taking enemy towns and farms. The maximum nobility is 10, but you can increase that with items like tents. Nobility is the amount of health the troop regains after each turn. You gain 1% of refresh per unit kill, and 3% of refresh per general kill. You can 'refresh' a tier of generals (more on that later) with refreshes. Does that mean I can never get general X? I just can't settle with general Y. You may ask, Damn, I really wanted to get general X. You can buy them at HQs with medals or emblems, which you can get by completing missions and chapters, respectively. ![]() When assigned to the right general, a troop can become dramatically increased in terms of health, attack and defense. Reference schematics are available for the SuzyQ. SuzyQ includes a USB hub in the cable, which allows the host computer to access both the debug interface (on the SBU pins) and any gadget-mode interfaces exposed by the device-under-test (for example an ADB interface for debugging Android applications). SuzyQ is a cable that tells the GSC to go into debug mode. More details about and these CCD software interfaces can be found in the documentation section of the EC codebase. Once the SuzyQ cable is connected, GSC makes several USB endpoints available to the host to communicate with the consoles, to program firmware, etc. Note that this prevents use of the DisplayPort alternate-mode (which also uses the SBU pins) but preserves regular USB operation on the port. When this cable is detected the system will connect the GSC full-speed USB2.0 interface to the SBU pins of the Type-C connector. To put GSC into debug mode, the SuzyQ cable has to present itself as a Debug Accessory (see Chapter B of the USB Type-C Specification). This interface can be reached via a special USB Type-C cable called “SuzyQ” on one of the system’s ports. The GSC code uses the microcontroller’s USB interface to expose its debugging functionality. You need to “open” GSC CCD and enable access to most GSC CCD capabilities.Ĭommunicating with Google Security Chip(GSC) For more in depth instructions on using CCD see the following: This document describes basic “Closed Case Debug” (CCD) and debug cable (SuzyQ) information.

Sometimes teachers will find that despite structured and less complex cognitive tasks, a student is still not able to be successful. Scaffolding assignments also allows teachers to identify students who need more significant interventions. Scaffolding minimizes the effects of these challenges by providing ongoing feedback, support, and structure from start to finish. Students who have ADHD, Dyslexia, mood disorders, neurological conditions or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often struggle with executive functioning. Executive functioning refers to the eight key skills necessary for successful completion of tasks: impulse control, emotional control, flexible thinking, working memory, self-monitoring, planning and prioritizing, task initiation, and organization. Long-term assignments can be especially challenging for students with executive function disorder or executive function challenges. The teacher then has time to provide the additional support or clarity the student needs before misconceptions hinder the student’s progress as a whole. This allows the teacher to see exactly where the student is having trouble each step in the process lets the teacher see where the student went wrong. Using a repetitive framework or tool, such as a graphic organizer, outline, self-editing checklist, or grading rubric, and building each task off the one before, allows for a smooth transition to increasingly challenging tasks while simultaneously increasing independence.Īlthough more frequent, smaller tasks provide greater potential for independence, there are more frequent checkpoints, due dates, or opportunities for revision with the teacher. ![]() Although the goal for each assignment may vary, repetition in process is important. These outcomes can be based on the curriculum frameworks, the school or department learning goals, or very specific to the needs of the students in the class. How exactly the task is broken down is dependent upon the makeup of the class, the goals of the teacher, and the desired outcomes for the class. Scaffolding in education is a teacher-directed process that breaks large tasks into smaller, more manageable tasks, and uses frameworks or tools to complete them. ![]() ![]() ![]() programs them and sent them out to the retailers where they get labled with "Gateway" stickers etc. It looks like the GW3DS Team buys the PCBs. I think at a certain point they began to identify those carts by altering the markings on them, as you can see on the following pictures, where the "X" in the "X-B" marking is blacked out: I don't know if both names are accepted or not, but to me it was a clue that the GW3DS Team is buying the DS cart hardware from different teams and installing their custom bootstrap onto them to somehow make it unique / not of the shelf. dat file is, that its the first file the bootloader/bootstrap is looking for, if it can't be found you get an error during startup. The PCB from the blue cart had this "X-B" marking close to its pins, which I tried to use as a reference on my search and found out that the Ace3DS+ has to be the manufacturer for these carts. I looked around several sites and reviews of the GW3DS and saw pics of the PCB from the blue cart.Īfter reading through the review and inspecting the GW3DS firmware folder I understood that the cart is a R4i clone, so I got my first clue to look for further information about the cart, since I knew that the GW3DS Team wasn't building those carts themselfs. On my journey to figure out the whole NDS scene, I first tried to understand what I actually got with my Gateway 3DS. Which is fine actually, but also wrong, in case you ever decide to check whats going on and find yourself in the same situation as me and realise pretty quick that there is way to much information to keep track of everything.īut lets get to the goal of this thread, I just wanted to share my point on things first and show that it isn't easy for someone whos is completly new to the whole thing, but I think I got my around all that stuff pretty well. I'm that kind of person who wants to know everything about each of my devices, to see whats possible and what is not.īut I also know that there are peeps out there who just want to play their games and don't give a damn about how the stuff works, as long as it works, tell them what to do and of they go. Now the thing is, everytime I buy a new console which has a huge community behind it and an ongoing hacking scene which I never cared about, I find myself lost in all of the information which is available for the specific device, I'm pretty sure we've all been there once.įor the 3DS part of the Gateway 3DS it's a piece of cake, since this thing is "brand new" and the news and information about it can be overwatched.īut a few days ago the DS part of the Gateway 3DS (the blue cart) got some of my attention, so I set out to check whats the deal with DS flashcarts and found myself in a chaos of information.įrom Wood Firmware, to 2000 R4 clones, over words like DLDI, Bootstrap, Kernel and whatnot my brain began to crack my skull in order to break out because it didn't fit anymore. I knew such things existed because a lot of my buddies got Nintendo DS' with flashcarts, but I never realy bothered about the Nintendo world that much, since I'm more into the PlayStation scene.īut every now and then I buy a new console just for fun and so I got myself a 3DS XL together with the Gateway 3DS flashcart. I'm pretty new to this whole DS flashcart thing. ![]() ![]() My goal might not be clear at first, but the text is about getting to know what the blue cart bundled with the Gateway 3DS actually is and if there might be way to update it, to support later 3DS firmwares, since I read that the bootstap can't be updated, yet I found "proof" that it might work. There was so much I wanted to say that I completely lost track and messed up the structure pretty good.
